IELTS Preparation Course Information

The IELTS test is designed to assess the English language ablility of candidates who are intending to go for further study or emigrate.

The IELTS Preparation course covers all four language skills - listening, reading, writing and speaking. All skills are tested in both the Academic and General Training modules. The module that candidates are required to take is determined by the sponsor/receiving institution and not by CfBT or IELTS.

The Acadamic module assesses whether a candidate is ready to study or train using English at an undergraduate or postgraduate level. The General Training module is more suited to candidates who want to take work-related training courses, complete their secondary education, or for immigration purposes.
