The Learning Centre is dedicated to improving the quality of students' English learning in Brunei by providing additional "Fun with English" language support. To supplement school classes we have set up additional English Language support for students of all ages. Young learners have an opportunity to improve their English through fun activities that promote learning and will help children to develop study skills.

Kindergarten (ages 4-5)

This course is an introduction to reading, listening and speaking in english. At CfBT Learning centre, childern in the kindergarden level childern are though beginners phonics and reading.

Young Learners (Primary 1-5)

We aim to improve and enrich students' overall use of the English language. The courses are built around carefully chosen themes designed to motivate learners. Each course develops language and social skills through a wide variety of activities such as extensive reading, vocabulary building, comprehension and grammar, creative activities and research skills.

Lower Secondary

This challenging course will supplement and extend students' language knowledge and skills. It will also enhance their secondary school studies as well as building confidence and having fun in English, with an emphasis on public speaking and debating skills.

Speech and Drama

This course aims to help students express themselves more fluently, clearly and confidently. They will also think more creatively and imaginatively.

The course focuses on the development of verbal and non-verbal communication skills and the development of creativity and problem-solving.

Reading Classes(Level 1)

This course aims to teach children techniques to improve their reading ability. Simple spelling and phonic patterns are taught to aid word recognition.

This course aims to teach older children who would like to improve their English reading ability. Spelling and blended phonic patterns are taught to aid word recognition.

Learning Support

This class is to assist students with learning difficulties. Students will work closely with the tutor in an environment that is contusive to learning. The tutor will set up a study programme to assist with their current school work along with support learning materials to enhance their learning development.
